For this project from Hashem Al-Ghaili there was already created a previzualisation. The task was to improve the look of the already created shots and to create digital backgrounds for a whole new sequence. I took the lead as 3D-Artist and Compositor. Due to cost restrictions we had to keep as much as possible from the previz and just to define a new look during the compositng process.

My first task was to adjust the model of the main character and to create a new coat for him. Then I had to adjust/create the textures and the shading. My second task was to create the rig for the sails and all the ropes of the ship with Maya NCloth. When I was done with all my 3D-tasks and changed to the compositing department and took over 6 shots.

This short was created during my internship at QuadrigaFX with Thorsten Schulz genannt Schön. Our task was to create a story around one character, we have already done for the science entertainment show “Wunder Welt Wissen”. We shared the shots equally and did everything (modeling, rigging, animation, texturing/shading, lighting, rendering, compositing, editing).
